Flight to home.

We flew back with Finnair to Helsinki-Vantaa airport.
The flight was very fluent and quick, service was friendly and good.
I was really pleased flying with Finnair, because when we went to Malta with Ryanair it was'nt pleasant and fluent.
Flight was 4 hours long so we arrived to Helsinki 00.30.

Last day in Malta.
Yesterday was my last day in Malta. I was really sad for leaving, in the morning I packed my things, went to the rooftop to take a sun for the last time in Malta, but it was really hot day so I could'nt be there long.
Before leaving we went to Sliema, Exiles Beach Club to have the last lunch here.

Then we took a taxi home. Cleaned our rooms and waited for the car to pick us up from home to the airport, before leaving we said goodbyes to our housemates, it was a really sad moment there.
 We arrived to the airport on time and waited our flight.

First when you walk in, there is balcony and one bed there sleeps my friend Jane from Finland.
And in the other room there is also a balcony and three beds where I sleep with two spanish girls.

So little bit about our house.

Birkirkara.

I live with 12 people(3 from Portugal, 2 from Fance,1 from Creece, 2 from Spain, 1 from Netherlands, 1 from England, 1 From Belgiam, 1 from Finland like me)
We have 3 floors in the first floor there is one bedroom with 3 people and one bathroom, living room and kitchen. On the second floor there is three bedrooms in each bedroom there is 3-4 people and one bathroom. On the third floor we have washing machine and you can go to the rooftop from there.

Monday.
On monday we went back to work to fill our papers and then we had a chance to swim in the hotel pool.
Later we went to bar to eat, we met some italians there who were visiting Malta for vacation.
Tuesday.
We got together with the same italians we met on monday so we just had a nice time with them.
Wednesday we had a meeting with close up Stage Malta, filled some papers and thanked them for having us.
Later we went to the beach and came home to pack and made some food.

Sunday the Erasmus Gala.
I woke up and started to get ready for the Gala.
At 17.00 I left home with one of my housemate to Birkirkara bus stop, there was gathering and a bus waiting for us.
The bus took us to the Castello Dei Baroni were the Gala was.
Gala started at 18.00 and ended 23.00
Also the same bus took us all back.
It was pretty interesting for me because I only knew 3 people there.
So I was pretty social there and met a lot of new people.
All the people there were students and are here studying through Erasmus.

Friday and Saturday at work.
Those two were very busy days, almost fully booked.
On friday I had Anti agening wrap and full body massage.
Classical facial.
Manicure with gel polish.
Manicure with polish.
Massage Aromatic anti stress.
Waxing.
On saturday I had Mother daughter treatment which includes back massage, facial and manicure or pedicure.
Girls day out treatment (back massage and facial)
Anti stress massage.
Hotstone massge.
Full body scrub and massage.
On saturday evening we had a little get because it was my last day at work and after work we met at Paceville with my work colleagues.

Thursday I had free day.
In the morning I went to the post office to send some cards to my family and then I did a little shopping in my hometown area, I had to find a dress for sundays Erasmus Gala.
It took a while before I found the dress because it was so hard to find the right dress, every dress was too big for me. I went to the last shop, I was there almost an hour and then i managed to find the dress but when I got home and tried the dress again it was still little bit too big and I did'nt wear it to the Gala instead I borrowed a really nice jumpsuit from my housemate.In the eveing I went out to eat at restaurant which was by the sea, really nice place.

Wednesday.
Work day
8.30 we had a meeting till 9.00.
Then I went outside to sell products and hand towles to clients.
In the evening I went inside to do teatments because after 4-5 we close the place outside.
At first I practised pedicure with gel polish and manicure with gel polish.
At 18.00 I had classical facial client.

Tuesday.
Today I was at work, and I had to be outside and hand the towels to people and sell sunscreen protucts but the weather was rainy so I was inside doing treatments. I only had one treatment in the evening Rituals for two. It was a couples treatment, it included Foot ritual(scrub), Full body scrub, Candle light masssage, foot reflexolog and facial.I did it with my colleague who is from India.

Sunday workday.

It was Mothersday so it was pretty busy again.

I had mother-daughter treatments in the morning, which included back massage, pedicure and facial.

In the evening I had pedicure and massages.

I was little bit tired because on friday we went to the pool which was by the sea and later went out and i got only 3 hours sleep.

On Monday I went to the beach with friends who I met last weekend.

Friday at work.
Friday was very busy at work, in the morning I had Apollo Ritual couples.
It's pedicure, full body massage and facial.
Then I had 5 fullbody massages, 1 anti stress, 1 sports massage and 3 deep tissue massages.
It was very hard for me cause I have never done these massages and hand got tired very fast.

On Tuesday and on Thursday i had a little different work day from other.

I sat outside and gave people towels, sold sunscreen products and offered cold towles to freshen up.

Thursday wasn't so sunny so i had two treatments too, later in the evening.

On Wednesday I went out with my housemates again. One of the housemates was leaving so she had her last night out and we all went to a nice restaurant by the beach. Ordered food and some drinks.

Sunday Funday.

On Sunday i went out with my housemates, we went to Cafe Del Mar.
It was so nice and there were so many people and nice music.

Monday.
Monday i had a free day also, i went to St.Peter's Pool with my housemates.
At first we had to take a ferry from Marsaxlokk, the ride was 30 minutes long.










Wheather was nice and sunny so we did a little clif jumping also, otherwise we would have gonnet a sunstroke or smth.There were also jellyfishes in the sea so it was little risky to jump in because in here they have poisonous jellyfishes.When we went back to Marsalokk with ferry there was a woman who told us about jellyfishes.Last year when she was swimming she got attacked by jellyfishes to arms and leg, her leg went black. And she still has the jellyfish poison inside her and she still has to go to the doctors.

On Saturday i was at work 9.00-20.00.

I had three treatments.

Facial, pedicure and full body massage, back massage.

Saturday wasn't so busy at work, i thought it would be busier.

Here are some of my colleagues.

Friday.
On Friday we went to Comino Blue laguun.
It was so nice, i felt like i was in paradise.
We got there like 13.00 and went back with the last ferry at 16.30.

Work.

Monday we went to our workplace for the first time.

We just filled some papers and they showed us around.

On Thursday one of the workers trained us a little bit and talked about the place.

On Wednesday I had my first offical workday at 9.30-21.00 a long day.

At 10.30 came my first client, I had to do a hotstone massage, I was a little nervous because I had never done it before. So everything is new to me because there are so many different threathments that I never had a change to practise. It's a little different what we have studied and what we are learning at school. There are so many massages so hands get tired very quickly. So the second client was at noon and just a little back massage. The third client was in the evening and my last client for the day. It was Apollo Ritual threathment( foot ritual, full body massage and facial) 2.5h long.

Actually my official work day ended at 20.00 but I helped our receptionist to close up the place.

I leaved work at 21.00 and I got home almoust at 23.00 it took two hours for me to get home, the trantsport in Malta is bad so most of the time I just had to wait the busses.

When I finallt got home I was so exhausted, luckly I have a free day today.

Sunday.

We woke up and then the weather wasn’t that nice so we decited to go to buy some food, but almost every shop were closed, but we found two shops(lidl) that were open until 14.00 so we went to lidl. It took us almost 3 hours because the busses were always late.

When we were walking back the weather changed, suddenly it was sunny and very hot so we decited to go to the beach(Golden Bay).

We went to the beach and the first thing we went to swim, at first it was cold but then we got used to it.

Then we came back home and made some food and just chilled in our room because tomorrow is our first day at work.

 Saturday.

Today we went to Valetta. Explored around it was so beatiful and sunny weather and Valetta is very culturally and beautiful.

In the evening we went to Golden Bay beach to swim but unfortunately it was too windy and gold to swim so we just sat on the beach and watched the sun go down.

Today we went to welcome meeting with Stage Malta.

At first we got little lost but we managed to get to the right place.The meeting went well.

Then we went to St Juliens and from there to Sliema The Point shopping mall to buy some food.When we got home we sat down with our roomates and ate some food and made plans for the night.We went out with our roomates to Pacevilla to see the nightlife.It was pretty crazy and fun.

So right now i am in Malta for my 1 month practise. My work place is Apollo Spa at Corinthia Hotel St. George’s Bay.

Leaving from Tallinn to Malta.

On Wednesday i went to Estonia to be with my family and say goodbyes to all. My flight was on Thursday from Tallinn airport at 13.55.

It was my first time flying. I was a little nervous at first but the flight went well. I arrived to Malta at 17.00. When i got out of the plane it was such a relief and it was very sunny and hot. I just have to get used to these sunny wheathers and hot days but i like it.

 At the airport Stage Malta had organized trantsport for me and they pick me up from the airport and brought me to student house where im staying. I share a room with two Spanish girls. In this student house there are 13 of us 3 boys and 10 girls. We have three rooms and in every room there is 3-4 people and we have a large kitchen, one bathroom, rooftop and a balcony.

Tomorrow we have a welcome meeting at 14.00 with Stage Malta at Saline Office in Salini resort.
